FREE FOOD!!

Just a reminder! Tomorrow is our Welcome Dinner! I hope you can all make it! Here are the details.

When: Thursday, September 3; 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Where: Jim D. Morris Center Lobby

What: Hang out and get to know the exchange students and some of the study away alumni. We’ll have pizza, breadsticks, salad, homemade cookies. Feel free to bring a side dish to share if you want! We should have tons of food, but it is always fun to try things from other countries.

If you think you are coming, please let us know so we get enough food!

You can e-mail Melody at stratton1229@missouristate.edu if you are planning on coming.

Thanks everyone!!!

.....And the game was a success!

Fortunately we missed the rain for the Springfield Cardinals last weekend of home games and got to see all the action (or lack of) during the 3 hour game! Yay! the home team won.

After getting our names announced, recieving commemorative coins, and informally raffling off the free cardinals t-shirt (Congrats Franco!!),I believe the highlight of the evening was unanimously the fireworks!!!
Stay Tuned for next month's activity.... I'm thinking amusement park.... :)

Welcome Students!

After the past two weeks of hectic airport pickups, apartment searches, dorm moves, and several trips to residence life and services, the PSU, and the always trusty T-mobile, all of our international students are settled and have successully began their first semester at MSU.

This Friday the Study Away Organization for the 2009- 2010 school will kickstart the fun with a Springfield Cardinals game at 7:10 pm. It's sure to bring many american rituals to light including overpriced beer, overindulgence of hotdogs, peanuts, and cracker jack, as well as an all out traditional display of fireworks.

We hope to see any and all of you there!

If you have any questions please contact the new Study Away Office Graduate Assistant and Study Away Organization President Lauren Reiter at Lauren2001@live.missouristate.edu
